“We were all heroes in the end.” –Supernova

Marissa Meyer has done it again!

In the last book of The Renegades Trilogy, she brought unexpected twists, suspense, and romance. Picking up from the cliffhanger ending of Archenemies, Nova is under even more pressure to keep her secret identity from being revealed. Meanwhile, Adrian’s hatred towards Nightmare reaches a peak, driving him further into his search for the villain. The two struggle to navigate their own paths as war between the Renegades and Anarchists threatens Gatlon City.

My reviews are spoiler-free, so it is difficult for me to express just how much happens from the moment I opened this book to the end. I can tell you, however, that the line between hero and villain is tested as secrets are exposed and the epic battle between good and evil reaches an end.

Although Supernova is the final book in the trilogy, the epilogue, which is written from neither Adrian nor Nova’s perspective, left me wondering if Marissa Meyer will take readers back to Gatlon City in the future. Should we expect another series with our beloved heroes and villains? I guess only time will tell.

Until next time, happy reading! ♡
