Monday was an exciting day for the Lunartics fanbase. Sure, it was Cyber Monday. Yes, there were lots of sales. Most importantly, though, it was the 8th Annual #CyborgMonday!
Leading up to her Instagram live, best-selling author Marissa Meyer teased a big announcement related to her YA sci-fi fairytale series: The Lunar Chronicles. Along with a sweepstakes full of goodies, new cover art was revealed for the paperback editions of Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter. The gorgeous new designs are set to release on February 4, 2020, but copies are already available for preorder.
During the Instagram live, Marissa Meyer talked about the new cover art as well as her upcoming Lunar Ever After Tour (find tickets here). She surprised those tuning in by wrapping up the show with a small ukulele performance of “Heroes” by David Bowie, which she totally rocked in my opinion.
As a huge Lunar Chronicles and Marissa Meyer fan, I am excited to see the series getting an updated look. The stories are so much more than retellings of fairytales, and it is nice knowing others appreciate them just as much as I do.
What were your thoughts on this past #CyborgMonday? What do you think of the new covers?
