Hi, my name is Sonya! I’m a book lover from California who enjoys being whisked away to magical worlds. I recently graduated with my degree in marketing and currently work as a publishing assistant at one of the “Big Five” publishers. I’m also a big advocate for diverse representation in books, especially for children and teens.
In March 2018, I started my bookstagram as a way to share and discuss the books I enjoyed reading. I was met with a welcoming community of fellow book lovers who were just as passionate as me. One thing led to another and my blog was born!
When I’m not reading, you’ll probably find me dancing around my room, randomly singing or humming, visiting local cafes, or watching my favorite shows on Netflix. Sometimes I even cosplay as my favorite fictional characters, like Inej Ghafa.
